Bad Company é un progetto attivo nella scena drum’n'bass da circa un decennio.
Dietro a questo nome si celano dj Fresh, D Bridge, Maldini e Vegas, 4 djs/producers dal talento incontestabile che hanno firmato alcuni degli anthem che hanno fatto ballare per anni i dancefloor di tutto il mondo.
Se tracce come “The Nine” o “The Pulse” avevano già dimostrato le potenzialità del gruppo, il primo album della loro etichetta (BC REC. 1998) “Inside the Machine” e quello seguente “Shot down on Safari” segnano la loro definitiva ascesa quali pionieri di un nuovo sound decisamente piú aggressivo rispetto alla scena Jump Up/Jungle dell’epoca.
Hanno prodotto per etichette come la Ram Rec di Andy C, la Metalheadz di Goldie, la Renegade Hardware e la True Playaz di Mr. Hype.
Piú recentemente Vegas e Maldini hanno fondato una nuova etichetta, la “Bad Taste” Rec. per la quale hanno prodotto singoli di giovani artisti come Noisia o Chase&Status creando quella che Kowledge Magazine ha definito la “Robo-Funk”.
